The M.E.L Awards for 2003, we're held at Scraptoft Valley WMC on January 20th 2004
The following catorgories and winners are as follows;

- Best Newcomer(I won in 2003): Paul Anthony
- Best Female Vocalist: Melody Jay
- Best Male Vocalist: Jay
- Best Duo: Step 7
- Best Band: Easy
- Best alternative Act: Time to meat (Meatloaf Tribute)
2004's M.E.L Awards night was held on Wednesday 26th January 2005. At The West End Club in Coalville. It was also a night of fundraising for the charity RAINBOWS. Compere for the first part of the show was Leighton Morrell, Dance Sensation gave us four fantastic dances, Let's Get Loud, Born To Try, Chicago Medley and A Dance Version of Total Eclipse Of The Heart. Then presenting the awards for the second part of the show was Mr Willie Thorne and myself. We also had Bob Berry the comedian to finish off the night.
